Dr. Brooke Johnson graduated from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 but has worked with animals all her life. Her family likes to tell the story of her being only 3 years old and jumping in to assist the veterinarian with the horses on her family’s farm. It was then that she decided she was going to be a veterinarian and help care for animals for the rest of her life. Dr. Brooke is passionate about educating clients about the human-animal bond and enjoys establishing life-long relationships with patients starting with puppy and kitten care through navigating end-of-life care. In her free time, Dr. Brooke enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, son, and many pets and riding her horses. Dr. Brooke is a participating member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association.
